Based on the principles of the Skills Development Act 97 of 1998, Africa Upskill addresses the needs of individuals and communities through identifying the skills gaps and formulating a training plan to meet these needs. The NPO was established to address the issues of education, youth upliftment, women empowerment, entrepreneurial and community development in South Africa and Africa.
By focusing on the needs of the community, we approach our partners and relevant stakeholders to join us in formulating a sustainable training platform that will grow the individuals in society and break the barriers of unemployment.
Our core values inspire the work that we do, by focusing on our partnerships and the beneficiaries of the training programmes, we create sustainable livelihoods for disadvantaged youth by empowering and strengthening their entrepreneurial skills as well as making them employable to enter the world of work.
We have strategically partnered with the Training and Consulting Cluster of Workforce Holdings, a leading, trusted provider of employment, training, healthcare, wellness and financial and lifestyle services to individuals and their employers.
Workforce Holdings Limited is listed on the AltX board of the JSE, employing over 1 100 permanent staff and paying approximately 35 000 temporary contractors weekly.
